Set the scene... Work lasted forever. I've got to run home, change, eat, get school stuff together and jet out of the house.

And a trail of dark kisses and dark Dove chocolates leading up each step.
In the livingroom U2 love songs are playing on a loop. With or Without You is on at the moment.
More chocolates scattered all over the floor, leading up the stairs to the bedroom.




Our bed is covered with them

A card, the camera, and a box of assorted yankee candles in a heart shaped box await me. The vase that I have been describing to Tim, but never found is sitting on my dresser, filled with beautiful, fragrant red roses.


The camera has pictures of the chocolate scenes around the house, and Tim putting them out. How sweet!


I bought Tim's gift at Victoria's secret...and I got him a card, and made him a mix CD of newer love songs. The "2006 Valentines Schmoop mix"

Fast-forward past english class - And we got out of the house early to get to the Cheesecake factory before the throngs of couples beat us to it. Traffic was heavy but we made it! I seriously had the best salad ever. Santa Fe chicken salad. It had some little tortilla trips on the top, grilled chicken, black beans, shredded jack cheese, corn...tons of stuff! And this peanutty sort of dressing that I can't describe.

We took the cheesecake to go (Godiva chocolate cheesecake and sugar free cheesecake) and slogged through traffic until we got to tower records. Once again, I'm the only one that found anything

When we finally got home we drank a bottle of champagne left over from our second wedding reception and played a married people's version of rummy until House came on.

The cheesecake was divine. More like chocolate mousse. Delicious. The things of women's dreams.
